Transaxis Maritime is incorporated
The marine company is established in Nigeria. It is the group’s shipping and port business, registered as Trans-Axis Maritime Ltd.
Axis Group
Axis Group is a Nigerian conglomerate. The companies under it sell different things — litres of fuel, a ship’s call, a stake in the business, and a place to live — and they share an owner’s question: will this still be sound in five years, and can a customer find the person responsible?
Cities run on fuel, on cargo that arrives by sea, and on rooms. Transaxis Energy supplies petrol and diesel with its own trucks, keeps stations open on solar-hybrid power, and is building CNG infrastructure. Transaxis Maritime, incorporated in 2011, is the marine company: port calls, cargo and the documents a terminal asks for, including petroleum cargo that belongs with the energy business. The Axis Apartment develops apartment buildings with those power and water facts in mind, then looks after them once people are living there. Transaxis Investment holds the capital, including its shareholding in Transaxis Energy, and is where a further business is considered before it operates.
Putting them in one group is practical. A cargo of fuel can be bought by the energy company, moved by road on its trucks or by sea through the maritime company, and the capital for both sits with the investment company. A residential generator or solar-hybrid plant can be specified by people who already buy and maintain energy equipment. Each company keeps its trade. The group makes them available to one another.
Axis Group is the name on this website and the standard the companies are held to. It does not take over a delivery desk, a ship’s agent, or a building manager’s round. Transaxis Energy keeps its customers and its Abuja commercial team. Transaxis Maritime keeps the port call. Transaxis Investment keeps the holdings. The Axis Apartment keeps the design, the site and the residents.
The companies published here are Transaxis Energy, Transaxis Maritime, Transaxis Investment and The Axis Apartment. Another business will be added when there is something true to say about it.
A short record
The marine company is established in Nigeria. It is the group’s shipping and port business, registered as Trans-Axis Maritime Ltd.
The company is established in Nigeria as an energy and infrastructure business and begins to build a downstream supply, retail and logistics footprint from Abuja.
More than 50 million litres of diesel and gasoline supplied to construction and infrastructure clients. Thirteen tanker trucks under company management. Retail stations moved onto solar-hybrid power, with LPG top-up at selected sites.
A 5.67 MMSCFD CNG mother station and five daughter stations are under development. Transaxis Investment holds the energy shareholding. The Axis Apartment carries the residential work: apartment development and the care of those buildings.
The standard
Petroleum, traffic, height, fire, electricity, water under pressure. The company that creates the hazard is the company that controls it. Dates do not outrank that.
Licences, approvals and contracts are part of the work. Transaxis Energy’s CNG programme is an example: approvals first, then construction.
Fuel is purchased from named refiners and traders. Building work is bought against drawings. Informal supply is not a business model.
Trucks, tanks, pumps, roofs, pumps again, lifts. A group that only cuts ribbons will not keep either a station or a home.
A client with a tanker on the road, and a resident with a failed pump, both get a person. The energy desk’s stated aim is a reply within one business day.
The published office is on the second floor of Gwandal Centre, Plot 1015 Fria Close, off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II. Energy deliveries run nationally from that commercial base. Apartment projects are tied to the cities where the sites are.
