Capital for the marine company incorporated in 2011: port calls, cargo and the documents that go with a ship. The call is run by the maritime desk.
The Axis Apartment
Capital for apartment buildings: land, construction and the reserve that lets a building be maintained after residents move in.

What is being bought?
A stake, a vessel’s work, a plot, a tank, or working capital. The thing has a name. “Expansion” is not a thing.
Who will run it?
An operating company, with a person. Investment does not become the manager of a station, a ship or a building by writing the cheque.
What can go wrong?
Price, delay, title, a berth that will not take the ship, a building the site cannot serve with power and water. The risk is named before the commitment.
How long is it held?
Some interests are kept. Some are built and sold. The hold is a decision, recorded, rather than a surprise when someone asks for the money back.
How this sits inside Axis Group
Axis Group is the public name of the conglomerate. Transaxis Investment is the company that carries the holdings. The operating companies keep their customers: Transaxis Energy on fuel and infrastructure, Transaxis Maritime on the port, The Axis Apartment on the homes.
That separation is the point. A client ordering diesel is talking to the energy desk, not negotiating with a shareholder. A resident is talking to the apartment company. A proposal to put new capital into any of them comes back to Transaxis Investment, in writing.
